To maintain the clients fleet in compliance with the regulations in force and liaise with the regulatory authorities. ? To establish and maintain a company approval system. ? Provide audit services and safety occurrence coordination in accordance with the regulations in force. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (i) Manages the priorities and workload within the section and maximises productivity. (ii) Produces a yearly audit plan and loads it onto Q Pulse, then amends the schedule in the light of any changes. (iii) Maintains a comprehensive audit filing system which reflects the plan, the checklist and the audit report and any communication between the auditee and auditor. (iv) Plans adequate resources to execute the audits in accordance with the audit schedule. (v) Conduct audits in a professional manner using best practice e.g. audit planning, checklists, opening and closing meetings well constructed and informative findings. (vi) Produce audit reports for audits undertaken within three working days and communicate to all interested parties, logging any communication. Ensure agenda is communicated a week prior to and the minutes including actions are issued five working days after the meeting. (xvi) Ensure all significant occurrences and audit findings are raised at the monthly Q&S meeting. (xvii) Develop a data pack of information for the monthly Q&S meeting which highlights key measures which can used to drive the business effectively, and change the necessary behaviours to improve quality and safety. (xviii) Develops awareness campaigns with notice boards, educational handouts and presentations on safety and quality issues and deliver them to staff. (xix) Assist in the import and export of aircraft organising items such as Certificate of Registration etc. (xx) Host foreign regulators visits. (xxi) Liaise with regulatory authorities such as SCAA and EASA. (xxii) Coordinate the renewal of Certificates of Airworthiness. (xxiii) Coordinate the Senior Managers area quality control inspections programme. (xxiv) Develop a quality alert bulletin system where staff awareness can be raised to key issues. (xxv) Motivates trains and develops staff under his / her supervision. (xxvi) Carries out twice yearly reviews for both capabilities and key performance indicators for his / her staff. (xxvii) Undergo relevant training as required by the position. (xxviii) Any other reasonable duties that may be expected of him / her. COMPETENCY NEEDS A. QUALIFICATIONS University Degree in Aeronautical Engineering; OR Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License AND Recognised engineering apprenticeship. B.
