Contract Administrator
Job site Location is On site in Arzew, near Oran in Algeria. Accommodation is an individual room in camp, on site. Our client is a leading, global cost consultancy looking for A Contract Administrator to be site based within a Japanese EPC Contractor?s organization for approximately 24 months on an LNG Plant Expansion project. You will ideally have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, a background in construction and experience working for a contractor. You will need experience working in an industrial environment, preferably within the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry. Experience working for a Japanese contractor would be advantageous but is not essential. Due to the location French language skills would be beneficial however an interpreter will be provided for owner and subcontractor meetings. In addition as the client is from China, Mandarin as a first or second language with English would be an advantage. The successful candidate will assume the full Site Contract Administration & Quantity Surveying functions reporting to the Site Manager and the Head Office Contracts Administration Manager. You will be advising and reporting to the client regarding the main contract and subcontracts, protecting the Client?s commercial interests and contractual position Working hours are 9hrs/d x 6days Home Leave: 11 weeks rotation with 14 days leave cycle (leave includes travelling time).
