Key Responsibilities - Equip key clients with the appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people e.g performance management, absence management, career management etc - Outside of the people plan, identify strategic people issues in partnership with key clients and support them with advice and expertise to resolve these matters. - Use management information to identify people issues and design solutions. - Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organisational change. Provide transformational advice and operational support. - Work in partnership with the business to manage employee relations issues. Personally support disciplinary/grievance and other ER issues as required. - Identify short, medium and long-term resourcing issues and challenge clients on salary levels, replacement strategies etc - Develop reward and recognition strategies in order to meet business needs. Experienced Grad Software Support and Training Assistant
You will join a small team of four staff who provide support to end users (both internal and external) for a number of specific software systems. These include a tax software package which is sold to 1,500 external companies, an assurance & advisory (audit) package used throughout the company in the UK and several other countries around the world, along with Microsoft products, a document management system and other major databases. The role will involve learning several software systems, some developed in house, some bought in from outside suppliers. You will provide telephone support and assistance to users of these systems, both within the company, and to our clients. You will also be required to provide some user training, on a one-to-one basis or to small groups. There will be an occasional need to travel to our regional offices, which may require an overnight stay The role will include problem analysis and resolution, documentation, testing of new software and liaison with other staff in the I.T. department. Among the key skills required will be an ability to communicate clearly and effectively and understanding the requirements of others. You should be self motivated, organised with attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure. The emphasis of this role is on 'client care' rather than technical knowledge. The successful candidate will require an enthusiasm to learn new systems and technologies, and have excellent customer service skills. Although experience in a similar role is not essential it would be beneficial.
