OPERATIONAL RECRUITMENT (20%) - Work on junior HR vacancies as directed by Manager of the HR team - Take client briefings for junior roles ensuring that a comprehensive JD is given and understood. - Attend client visits alongside more established consultants. - Interview and brief junior candidates on HR vacancies. - Put together shortlists for junior roles to be sent to clients. - Manage junior candidates through the recruitment process from interview preparation right through to offer. Sector background is not important however it is essential that candidates have a minimum of 6 months recruitment consultancy experience, including a high degree of business development. A positive, outgoing personality is a must however suitable candidates will be able to adopt their style depending on the type of organisation/seniority of candidate they are dealing with.

The position will be based upon an initial three month contract but there is scope for the position to become permanent. Therefore, interest is welcomed whether you are looking for something on a purely interim basis or something with an option for permanancy in the long term. You will be taked with taking a strategic view of the L&D function and establishing a best practice approach. Therefore, part of your remit will be to review what work has already been done, where the gaps exist, creating the solutions and driving them through. In doing so it is critical that you take a sensitive approach, adapting your style where required to persuade and influence and building good relationships across the team. The key is that the solutions implemented are both received positively and have a positive effect on the departments effectiveness in deliveing it's objectives to the business. Previous experience of working within a number of different businesses from an L&D perspective is highly desirable, as you will need to draw upon this knowledge to produce the most effective strategy. Training experience from a contact centre perspective would be of great advantage and being very process minded is essential. You will also need to feel very confident in driving through structure in an appropriate and sensitive way.
