HR Officer - Redditch - Manufacturing - Generalist / Training The opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join a market leading niche manufacturer. Reporting directly into the HR Manager, with 1 administrator reporting into the position, the role will be diverse and represents an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded organisation. Duties will include, but not be limited to:- - Maintaining awareness of the company?s performance, improving and tailoring services accordingly as necessary - Providing a generalist function to support the business in people management and development - Recruitment, management and development of the yearly apprentice intake - The establishment and developing of training schedules at all levels of the business - Management and organisation of training courses - Ensure that training is efficient but in line with company budget - Maintainance of training records and updating of skill requirements Ultimately, this is a generalist role with a defined slant towards Training and Development. With that in mind, you will show the ability to prioritise your work in an organised manner, maintaining attention to detail at the same time. Your proven interpersonal skills will allow you communicate with people at all levels of the business. You will be professional whilst showing an enjoyment of your work, and able to contribute to other members of the team. It is expected that you will be studying towards your CIPD with a minimum CPP (or equivalent). Study will be supported in the position for the right candidate. The shift pattern reflects a manufacturing environment with a 7.30am start and 4.30pm finish, except for Friday which finishes at lunch.
