Senior Quantity Surveyor ? PQS ? Various Sectors A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required by my client to be based in their offices in Manchester. They are currently working within a number of different sectors so any good commercial candidates will be ideal for this role. The Client: The Company?s clients include various major 'blue chip' Construction Employers, Concessionaires, Contractors, Specialists, Solicitors and Consultants and its commitment to collaborative management and innovation is identified as a key project success area. Team Leader Geoenvironmental
Job description My clients office in Surrey has an established team of 6 environmental scientists and consultants working for both Local Authorities and private sector clients on contamination assessments and remediation strategies. The right candidate will have an established client base and will be required to develop and own a Business Case for this role. In this regard, you will be involved in bidding tenders and supporting bids in other offices, marketing and selling as well as Project Managing. Projects will include Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land site investigations and assessments, IPPC applications or landfill closure audits, contributions to ES/SEA and planning advice to Local Authorities and developers. As the Team Manager you would organise and write the briefs for your own team members as well as other Technical Experts that may be required to contribute to projects from our National team which includes hydrogeology, waste, application of the PART IIA regime, risk assessment, remediation, environmental impact, ecology etc. You will be responsible for recruitment, sales and marketing and project delivery approval and current expectation is for a 20% growth in the group in 2006/2007.
