Marketing Manager
Our Client is seeking a Marketing Manager to be based in their offices in Oxfordshire. They are a relatively small company in the UK, now about 12 people, but expanding rapidly. This is a new position, caused by expansion, and will work closely with the Director to move the business forwards. Key tasks will be to drive forwards the e-commerce business, write product literature and communications, PR and advertising, and planning marketing strategies. It is likely that the position will evolve, once the ideal candidate has been found. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Immunology and / or Molecular Biology, both from a technical and a commercial perspective. Previous marketing experience and a marketing qualification are desired but not essential.

Technical Support Specialist - Surrey - Life Science Job code - NS0809-5 Job summary - The primary responsibility of the role is the processing of technical queries on reagents and consumables from international and UK customers, distributors and sales force. The role will also have input into technical support resources and complaint management is a key focus. As a front line representative of the company this position will influence customer allegiance, so professionalism and courtesy are required at all times. This role, while based in Epsom, will have a global responsibility. Key Accountabilities " Respond to technical enquiries and manage complaints from our end users, sales teams, international sales channels and internal departments. " Provide technical information, assistance and training to customer services and sales. " Create and update technical documents (MSDS, datasheets, catalogue, etc). " Keep responses to set service levels and provide metrics for reporting. " Coordinate the resolution of customer complaints with operations and work closely with R&D and product managers on preventative measures. " Update and maintain information resources for sales representatives. " Assist Technical Support Manager and Product Managers as needed. " Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Ideally, you will be a graduate in molecular biology or have a minimum of two years experience in a molecular biology laboratory. You will be a confident self-starter and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone and written. Written and spoken French skills are desirable for this role.

Regional Sales Manager
Our client is one of the major catalogue based companies supplying the UK laboratory market. They are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the central portion of the UK. They will be one of three regional sales managers reporting to the UK sales manager, and will themselves be responsible for approximately 10 field based sales representatives (two of whom are fairly senior and so could be given some extra responsibilities if required). European Business Development & Licensing Associate The Role The company wants to appoint a Business Development Associate preferably based in the UK within easily commutable travel networks. Some experience within the pharmaceutical industry is required to establish licensing contracts through new and existing networks. The Business Development Associate will have European responsibility to implement the strategies and related operational plans for the profitable development of the company. The role will report directly to the CEO. Location The role will require significant travel, access to travel networks is more important than location. A proportion of time will need to be spent at the Company offices based in the South West Key Responsibilities ? Work closely with the senior management team to establish the commercial business and marketing goals, actions and budgets; ? Follow up and generate new business leads. Utilize strong interpersonal skills when negotiating contracts and/or bids and building long-term relationships with potential external partners and/or customers; ? Assist in identifying market potential by understanding licensee requirements, defining market, competitors' share, advantages and weaknesses, forecasting projected business, establishing targeted company share; ? Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc; ? Provide technical and administrative product information, coordinate presentations and support proposal generation. Prepare client-specific presentations and other data to respond to client needs; ? Ensure that existing licensees are serviced effectively; ? Work with management to translate client needs and expectations into reality; The Individual The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications, experience, skills and competencies. Qualifications Graduate, A chemistry, chemical engineering, biology or pharmacology qualification would be an obvious advantage. Experience Some experience in the pharmaceutical industry combining sales and marketing experience with a track record in the successful closure of licensing deals and a demonstrable network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry in Europe. Skills Broad understanding of the European Pharma generic markets and decision-making dynamics within the companies operating in this space. Person Specification The personal qualities of the candidate will be as important as his/her qualifications and expertise. They should include: ?
